CLASS OF 2022

Congratulations to all of our 2022 scholarship recipients!

Thank you for being champions for suicide awareness and prevention.

Chandler Thompson

Chandler is a graduate of Rejoice Christian High School.  She has been involved in drama, helping with audition workshops, running a summer theater camp and volunteering as a set designer.  She has also served as stage manager for multiple middle school programs.  Chandler was elected as a Homecoming Queen Candidate.  She has served as a lead in her Worship Arts Class, which orchestrates, plans and coordinates the weekly chapel at Rejoice school.  Chandler is also involved in the worship team at First Baptist Church Tulsa.  One of Chandler’s favorite memories was competing in One Act her freshman year when she was cast as the lead performer.

Chandler’s scholarship is given in Memory of Floyd Jozwiak, grandfather of Brandon Magalassi.

In the fall, Chandler plans to attend the University of Oklahoma and study Architecture.

Emmalyn Witten

Emma is a graduate of Rejoice Christian High School.  She has been involved in drama, worship arts class leading worship at chapel, and the student mentor program.  Emma has been an active member of National Honor Society and was crowned 2022 Football Homecoming Queen.   She is also involved in the After Care program at a local elementary school and serves as worship leader at her church on Wednesday evenings.

Emma’s scholarship is given in Honor of Emily Goble, lifelong friend of the Magalassi Foundation.

In the fall, Emma plans to attend Colorado Christian University and study music.

Reagan Yost

Reagan is a graduate of Owasso High School. She plans to study chemical engineering / pre-pharmacy in the fall at a college yet to be determined.

Reagan’s scholarship is given in Memory of Nathan Rosa, son of Mike and MaryAnn Rosa.

Lillian Cavanagh

Lillian is a graduate of Rejoice Christian High School.  Some of her achievements include: Superintendent’s Honor Roll, Treasurer- National Honor Society, 3 time All-District High School Soccer Player, and STUCO Representative.  Lillian has also served as a small group Tribe Leader.

Lillian plans to study Biology or Kinesiology and later go to medical school with a focus on sports medicine.

Alexandra Paul

Alex is a graduate of Rejoice Christian High School.  As a senior, she has served as the secretary of Student Council and won the Principal’s Honor Award in her Junior Year.  Alex is involved in her church as a worship leader.  She has also been involved in theater since 6th grade, active in Camp Barnabus and helping children with special needs.

Alex plans to attend Southeastern University in Florida.  Her focus of study will be social work.
